When is the best time to visit Mexico City?

Mexico City, although it is located in the center of Mexico, which is located in an intertropical zone, is characterized by a temperate climate due to the altitude, since the city rises to 2,400 meters above sea level. The climate of Mexico City is very different from that of Cancun, located on the Caribbean coast: although the heat is almost permanently on the Caribbean coast, in Mexico City more or less significant thermal variations occur during the day, and there is preparation to face the rainy periods during the wet season. In addition, in view of the situation of this capital with respect to the equator, the seasons do not necessarily coincide with those of the northern hemisphere, as in France or Canada.

The best time to visit Mexico and its central region are, both the months of March and April and those of October and November. In this way, you will avoid the rainy season and will not suffer the suffocating heat of the driest months, so you can visit the cosmopolitan capital of the country without problems. You will be captivated by its pleasant atmosphere and its lush green areas.
