PAPALOTE CHILDREN'S MUSEUM

After a renovation, this venue now has better facilities and more technology, as well as new content for young and old. It is divided into six areas: The journey begins, My body, I live Mexico, My home and my family, My city and the Laboratory of ideas. In each of them the children will use their hands and senses to discover, learn, design and even express themselves artistically.

INTERACTIVE MUSEUM OF ECONOMY (MIDE)

This is the first museum in the world dedicated to talking about money, with topics on how to manage your finances in daily life, how to buy, sell and how not to get into debt. The museum has basic information so that from a young age we can learn about our way of managing money. There is a journey through the history of banks, the banknote factory, the numismatics area, permanent exhibitions as well as courses and diplomas to understand that in the end we all play the same game.

MUSEUM OF LIGHT

From color theory, pigment extraction, through the light of the stars in the sky, to an interactive room with mirrors that distort the image, the museum offers experiential learning for children. There is also a space dedicated to optical illusions that puts people of all ages to play. In addition, the museum has a substantial cinema club, gives lectures, workshops, summer courses and night visits on the last Wednesday of each month. All rooms have a Braille reading option.

PLANETARIUM LUIS ENRIQUE ERRO

This enclosure has a museum and a digital immersion dome. It can only be visited with a guided tour, which makes the experience more enriching, since the comments of the guides explain and complement the interactive montage of each of the rooms. Some of the things you will see are scale models of spaceships, you will meet the team of astronauts who visited the moon for the first time and you can even experience how difficult it is to manipulate tools when wearing a spacesuit. There are also models of the planets and some original pieces of spaceships donated by Russia and the US.
