Enjoy the beautiful and remodeled ecological park of Xochimilco.

The recently renovated Xochimilco Ecological Park is famous for being a natural space full of life and beautiful landscapes. Don't miss out on living a magical experience in this place!

The Xochimilco Ecological Park has always been a special place with a large space in the middle of nature, but for a long time access was charged and for many years it seemed like a park for private use but suffered from abandonment.

They were 165 hectares with the design of the architect and landscaper Mario Schjetnan, that is why this green space was recovered and made public again. This Ecological Park of Xochimilco now has restorations and new constructions. The wetlands of Xochimilco were recovered and the residents of Xochimilco found themselves with a new park.

Today, the Xochimilco Ecological Park is home to 220 species of native and migratory birds. Some of the works were the recovery of bodies of water, jogging track, children's play area, forest sanitation, recreational areas, didactic chinampa and walkways.

Likewise, the Ecological Park has 80 hectares and four guardhouses for the safety of its visitors. 54 green hectares were recovered, including lakes, reforestation, pruning, rehabilitation of roads and trails, recovery of squares and service modules.

It offers Playgrounds, eating spaces, palapas, benches, 14 picnic tables, 10 bicycle parking lots and 10 waste collection modules. There are several spaces to exercise and the park is surrounded by vegetation, gardens and decorative murals that highlight the beauty and culture of this corner to the south of Mexico City.

It is beautiful, really peaceful and full of nature, the perfect place to walk and enjoy great moments outdoors.
